In this video, Showbiz and DJ Premier chop it up about music and beats. Conversation isn’t too in-depth, still listen closely, as some jewels are dropped. But the real gem of this video is the footage of Showbiz playing his drum sounds; you can see exactly how he assigns his primary drum sounds on his Akai MPC 2500 pads. Next week, I will cover pad assignment more extensively.
