Max B and French Montana’s relationship is well documented. In 2008, the duo made their first song together “Waavvy” off of French’s mixtape Live From Africa. The success of that song, coupled with common enemies, led to the beginning of their infamous Coke Wave mixtape series in 2009. “The New Wave” is a track off of Coke Wave 2. Featuring production from Dame Grease, and a few of his own bars, the trio trade lines over a soul sample.
